Now that you know what Jeep 4xe means, it's time to move onto the features of a Jeep 4xe vehicle. At the center of each Jeep 4xe model, the 17.3 kWh battery gives the Jeep SUV amazing power. The battery is sealed with waterproof casing so you can still take on bodies of water up to 31.5 inches deep. Just like its gas model. The 4xe battery was also built to travel through different remote landscapes. Take on the off-roads or the busy city streets in a Jeep 4xe vehicle.
These Jeep 4xe plug-in hybrid models give you a wide range and even fast charging. With a level 2 charger, the 4xe model will get a full charge in about 2 hours. With the at-home level 1 charger, it will fully charge in about 12 hours. After a full charge, the 4xe models give you a driving range of around 400 miles, depending on the Jeep 4xe model.

The Jeep 4xe models have three driving modes to choose from. These modes allow you to optimize your drive the way you want. - Electric: Operated on electric power only, until the battery reaches minimum charger or full throttle is needed, engaging the gasoline engine
- eSave: Utilizes the gasoline engine, saving the batteries for later use. Battery Save and Battery Charge are two options available with this mode
Jeep 4xe Models
Jeep has two 4xe models available right now. The Jeep Wrangler 4xe and Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe. These models are just like the gas models but with an added battery and longer mile ranges.
