  • QUADRA-TRAC II® 4X4 SYSTEM: This 4x4 system features a two-speed  low transfer case that uses input from a variety of sensors in order to determine tire slip at the earliest possible moment and take corrective action. Choose the Auto Mode in the available Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System for everyday driving or quickly dial in Sport, Snow, Sand/Mud or Rock for specific driving conditions
  • QUADRA-Drive II® 4X4 SYSTEM: is the most rugged four-wheel-drive sytem for Grand Cherokee. It features a 2:72:1 low-range ratio and is equipped with a rear electronic limited slip differential. When tire slippage is detected, as much as 100%of available torque may be instantly routed to the axle with the most traction.

  • Laredo & Limited :The Limited and Laredo both come standard with a 4x2 system and the otpion to upgrade to the Grand Cherokee's QUADRA-TRAC I® 4X4 SYSTEM.
  • Overland :The Overland comes standard with the QUADRA-TRAC II® 4X4 SYSTEM.
  • Summit & Summit Reserve:The Summit and the Reserve come standard with QUADRA-Drive II® 4X4 SYSTEM
  • The Overland and the Summit Reserve also offer the Quadra-Lift Air Suspension system, providing adjustable ride height for improved off-road capability and on-road comfort.
