Burning Rubber? We've Got You Covered.   As solid an investment as your new Northlake Chrysler Dodge Jeep or Ram vehicle is, parts on it will still wear out.
Wipers, Filters, and Oil are just a few of those expendables that need replacing before long, and your Northlake CDJR dealership will stock those parts that will make your Challenger, Jeep Wrangler, 300 or Ram 1500 run like new again. But at the end of the day, none will improve your vehicle's performance like a new set of tires.

Â
Imagine for a moment driving your new Dodge Challenger Hellcat
that just happens to have a huge appetite for Pirelli P-Zero tires. While we always subscribe to the practice that whichever tires get you to the racetrack for a "Run-What-You-Brung" cocktail reception, also need to get you back home at the end of that soirée, be assured that your Northlake Parts Department
has more where they came from. It's kind of like that 1990's era tortilla chip commercial that urges you to "crunch all you want, we'll make more." But we digress.
While new, they provide maximum traction when accelerating from a stoplight. They will provide incredible grip when winding through turns, and instill safety and confidence during bouts of inclement weather. But as they get on in age, and even though some tread may remain, tires with a lot of mileage may cause hydroplaning right after a brief rain. Luckily, your Northlake CDJR dealership's service department stocks original OEM tires from the same manufacturers that supplied the tires you received when you took delivery of your new Northlake Chrysler, Jeep, Ram and Dodge.
It's easy to check your tire health. All that's needed are your eyes and your Uncle Abe (Lincoln). First examine the sidewalls (the sides) of the tires to insure there is no bulging or other types of irregularities. A rash of debris on interstate highways are doing their best to keep a steady demand for new tires alive, so please pay attention to the tire when inspecting its sidewalls and tread surface. After you have found no irregularities on the sidewalls, turn your attention to the treads. To check your tire's tread, simply place a penny "head down" at various points in the tire tread. If you can see the top of Abe Lincoln's head sticking out above the tread, it's time to replace your tires. If part of Lincoln's head lies below the tread, then you have at least 2/32 of an inch of tread remaining.
Finally, check your tires for proper inflation, as listed in your Napleton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Owner's Manual or the Tire and Loading information sticker which sits inside the driver's door jamb.
